Cannon House, Stockbridge

The owners of the original large house from which this plot was taken wanted to create some added value for their family. The plot had a difficult topography sloping dramatically from one end to the other in excess of five metres. The challenge was to find the opportunity in the site conditions and a multi-level solution was conceived. The new house is seen as a garden building very much subservient to other buildings around it. The different levels create positive features, such as a terrace off the master bedroom and a flat green roof solution with solar panels.
